Miles Morales, now a more seasoned Spider-Man in his Brooklyn universe, reunites with Gwen Stacy (Spider-Woman) who unexpectedly whisks him away on a multiversal adventure.
He encounters a vast and diverse team of Spider-People known as the Spider-Society, led by the futuristic Miguel O’Hara (Spider-Man 2099).
A Dangerous Threat
The Spider-Society is dedicated to protecting the multiverse from the powerful and dimensionally-disruptive villain known as The Spot.
The heroes soon clash on their approach to handling this threat. Miles, with his desire to protect his loved ones, finds himself at odds with the more ruthless methods of the Spider-Society.
Spider-Man Redefined
The conflict with the Spider-Society and a reunion with an older Peter B. Parker forces Miles to confront what it truly means to be a hero. He experiences personal growth as he faces difficult choices and the responsibility that comes with his powers.
